Here in the richest state, within the richest nation in the world, no one should be without a place to call home.

Advocate and collaborate with District 2 cities to ensure we’re intentional in the way we increase housing security for all at risk. Work with other like-minded people to:

• Fully support the goals and priorities of the Home Together 2026 5-year plan to end homelessness in Alameda County.
• Endorse and lead efforts to get the Bay Area Housing Finance Authority (BAFHA) Regional Housing Bond passed on the November of 2024 ballot.
• Ensure that the funding formula addresses specific unmet needs in Alameda County such as shallow subsidies, homelessness prevention, as well as the protection, production, and preservation of affordable housing throughout our county.
• Stand up for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’S) and Community Based Organizations (CBO’S) in District 2 - move heaven and earth to help them get the resources they need to improve the wellbeing and housing security of our county’s unhoused community members.
• Fiercely advocate at the State and Federal level for increased funding to address the needs of our unhoused community members.
